Library

If you’re looking for books to read, a place to study, or online resources – you’ve come to the right place. We actually LOVE it when the library is full, so come on in and make yourself at home.

When are we open?

Monday – Friday:  8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Library Technician:  Ms. Lori Bardell

What if you want to take out a book?

Books are signed out for 2 weeks at a time. If it’s overdue, the fine is 10¢ a day per book.

What is a database, anyway?

A database is a collection of search engines that lead you to information like scholarly articles, research papers and other credible sources. They are accessible from home too. Just ask Mrs. Gavard for the password.

More resources are available with the Rainbow Schools Virtual Library.

I need a computer

They are available for students to work on and do research. Have to use a database? No problem! They include access to online databases here. Printing is free if school related, otherwise it’s 10¢ per page.

I want to read a good book

We have a great collection of fiction books from authors A-Z. Choose from some of the latest teen/young adult fiction, or maybe you’d prefer old favourites or classics.

We have plenty of non-fiction books for you to read, too. If you need print resources for a project, we have quite a few options.
